?The Spirit of the
Hospice?, Art in the Garden at Lindsey
Lodge Hospice Sunday, October
4th
2009 We would very much like you to be part of an
exhibition that we are
staging in the gardens of Lindsey Lodge Hospice later this
year. We will publicise the
exhibition and raise funds for Lindsey Lodge through visitors?
donations. We are inviting as many people as possible to
produce a piece of floral art, design or work to be displayed at Lindsey
Lodge between 10.30am and 3pm on Sunday, October 4th
2009. You have the
opportunity to give free reign to your creativity and produce a piece of
work that captures the spirit of our hospice. Work can be presented on grass,
hard standing, brick walls, in our courtyard areas and even hung from
trees. Our hospice art group is mounting a display of
their work in our day care unit and we hope to have a selection of local artists and crafts people
demonstrating and talking about their work. Barton upon The event promises to be an exciting occasion and
an excellent way for people to exhibit work and get together with like
minded people while celebrating the spirit of the hospice and raising
funds. One in three of us will be affected by a
life-limiting condition such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone
disease, heart or renal failure.
Lindsey Lodge Hospice exists to care for people whose lives are
affected by these conditions, and provides loving specialist care known as
palliative care free of charge to patients and loved ones. Lindsey
Lodge Hospice is an independent registered
charity, number 702871. It
costs over £3.50 a minute to provide our much needed
care. For further information about the event and to
discuss possibilities please contact Maggie Wootton at 15 North Street,
West Butterwick, North Lincolnshire, DN17 3JS or telephone 01724
783952. Alternatively call
the hospice on 01724 843731 or email enquiries@lindseylodgehospice.org.uk and a message will be passed
on.
